Do you remember as a child those bed time stories you begged for 'til you were fast asleep? How about those wonderfully colorful books the teacher read aloud at the front of the class? Now think back. How underrepresented were vampires and werewolves in your children's literature?
Now you have a chance to change that. For week three, the topic is children's literature, vampire and werewolf style. Now, this not only means that your stories can be about vampires and werewolves, but they could even be stories mother vampires/werewolves would tell to their children. Think outside the box. There are so many more possibilities!
As always, entries should not exceed 3000 words. Grammar and syntax count as well as imagination, so please proofread. Entries are limited to two per person, and may include poetry or prose.

The deadline for Week 1 entries is September 13th, 11:50pm Pacific time.
