ANTHRO COMMUNITY's CHOICE

Don't you know what is this about?? Still!?

I guess that mean you missed our first and second article? Well, then, to let you know, Community Choice started out as a simple series of articles by ^misskittyoooo where deviants could choose one deviant’s gallery and pick a few deviations from it to feature. In February 1st, ^Helewidis gave a twist to that idea, the project soon extend and took the form of Community Choice’s News Articles, embraced by several Gallery Directors (including me!) and by everyone in deviantART.

The goal of this project is simple: To provide a fun and simple way of featuring good work from deviantART’s galleries in a collaborative spirit between Gallery Directors and the community. The purpose is to expose deviant’s artworks without the “just post thumbs” attitude - we feel this way the Featured works get the attention and respect they deserve!

So, if you feel a deviation is great and should be featured, you may want to suggest it to get a Daily Deviation (DD), to be exposed in the Featured Anthro Art journals.... but if you want to feature a whole gallery, or an anthro artist and some pictures from their galleries, then this will be the place. And maybe you'll see your selection in the next "Anthro Community's Choice" #4...!!!

~valentinecrow's Choice

~wfa's work has excellent linemanship, it's clean and simple but a hint of Japanese style tattoo work. A great style that is a nice departure from the mainly anime-influenced styles on DA.

*luve's gotten attention for her art before, but its such a beautiful gestural style that's just so endearing. Its consistent and gives off a sweet homely feel, yet she's capable of showing a full range of emotions with her easily recognizable style.

~jeddibub
~jeddibub is another well known name, or at least it should be. Dynamic work, thin lines that whip around that are complimented by dashing colors. Lots of movement and action in her work.

*Jajna's Choice

~kamicheetah did a howl background with mystical things that make one think of dreamcathers or indians in this dreamy lovely dovely environment. The colours are warm och the characters seems to have a close relationsship. We wanna be there!!

Whenever ~kamicheetah makes a character character sheet they have something really special. The characters are nothing like other creators because she seems to have thought about everything. Hunter even has a loooong information about him. The pictures are great and makes one wanna take a look again because of that.

This one makes us smile every time, or racher make us happy. ^^ It's so simple and looks easy even if it's not. We have tryed to draw like this and it takes practise, even some years, to draw like this, making it look detailed but still a sketch. Here we se some of ~kamicheetah's charm.

I know this feature is as short as the second issue, because we still not receive enough suggestions. I wish to thank both ~valentinecrow and *Jajna this time because of the time they two took to select their choices and send me them. I hope this third issue keeps encouraging more anthro gallery members to try it and note me with their selections, in this additional way to feature some of the wonderful art we can find related to Anthropomorphic Art: nothing would make me feel happier than to get flooded with suggestions enclosing your Anthro Choices for a next news article *hint hint*
