#1 - Middle AgesI always wanted to make a feature for fashion related pics... now I had the time and the patience to do so. Hope you'll like it!
Every week, I'm going to upload my favourite fashion pics of a certain era, most likely I'm going to do them in chronological order. I'll announce the next topics at the bottom of the current ones.
If you have fashion pictures related to the next era, please send them to my account and do not link or post them in the comments. I'll decide if I use it, though.

Fashion in the Middle Ages~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The clothes in the Middle Ages reflected the place of a person's place inside the medieval class order of society. The differences between the classes were mostly shown in the used material and its decoration, as well as in the colour of the material.
The lower classes used linen, hemp, nettle (these three in particular for underclothing) and sheep's wool (for outerwear).
The upper classes were able to purchase expensive imported fabrics like silk and generally used better quality clothes.

So these were the my most favourite medieval fashion pics. I would have uploaded all of the great shots I found, but I'd copy and paste thumbnails until next spring, so I had to choose. I hope you enjoyed it and thanks to all the people, who provided us with such great pictures and costumes.
