Wheel Power over handicapped

~vforvengeance:iconvforvengeance: reports, September 23, 2008
"It’s not that you can’t draw, it’s because your eyes got problems"

The quoted line above was from my principal back in my art college days when he gave us a lecture on motivation and it still rings in my head after 7 years. Bloody hell… Every time people comment that I have talent or got the gift whatsoever, my only reply is that it takes more than just talent to make it right here. So what if you got talent? If you don’t work on it, polish it and show keen interest at it, at the end, a talent can also becomes a flop and you only got yourself to blame.

I used to attend art classes when I was little and my art teacher was this super talented arty guy who not just paints a rainbow on canvas but also in the atmosphere during class. He was kind, generous and patient to guide us; his masterpieces are superb and guess what? He got no arms. That’s right; he painted everything by foot and mouth and he’s amazing.

For nearly 50 years, the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists or MFPA for short, has been a great success for artists with disabilities where they draw and paint with their mouths and feet. From a small fraternity of 18 artists is now represented by 74 countries with 726 artists. MFPA representatives insist that they are not charitable organization; they are running a business in a company. Most of their masterpieces are sold in gallery for about 3-4 figures each but they also come in compact, affordable sizes like calendars, greeting cards etc. For more info, log on to here: [link]

Now for those who aren’t born with disabilities and perfectly healthy with 4 limbs attached, you should be thankful for that. Especially when it comes to facing challenges and trials in life, no one can help you unless you help yourself.

For any aspiring artists here at DA, aren’t you ashamed that you aren’t as good as these MFPA artists with all 4 limbs attached while they have none? So what is it you have done to constantly improve yourself? Shouldn’t we engage in self-reflection to see if we share the same traits with them? If they can live without fear of humiliations for being handicapped, why can’t we be more thick-skinned than they do since we got all 4 limbs attached?

So stop making up excuses that you don’t have time to learn and improve when you show your own work here at DA, or else you would only help justify what people always say about DA

“Deviantart.com is a place where half-pass 6 artists show their sub-par works in exchange for page-views and appraisals to gain attentions, not to seek advices and knowledge for self-improvement. Want to be instantly famous? Just post your junks on DA.”

"From A Smart one to A Retarded one"

Although artists from MFPA don’t have the privileges to hold things with hands, they still able to make great masterpieces and sell them without the need to bank on sympathies, where people bought their works out of pitying them. As for those who has all 4 limbs attached and without disabilities, the most retarded thing they can do is pretend to be dumb. Why? That’s because they’re too lazy and want things served upon their hands without working towards it.

I’ve seen a lot of whiners without disabilities, physically or mentally making up excuses that they can’t draw well and yet they refused to practice more to improve their skills. There are so many references and tutorials out there made by professionals to help aspiring amateurs and how come NO ONE ever bother to look up on these?

“How to draw Manga”- a series of instructional books on drawing manga published by Graphic-sha, by a variety of authors. Originally in Japanese for the Japanese market, many volumes have been translated into English and published in the US. They got everything from A-Z and that should be sufficient for your sake. So why didn’t you ever take a walk down to the nearest bookstores at any malls to search for them?

Find them too expensive? Can’t find them? Well then, how about online tutorials?

Manga University- where they offer online lessons for USD 49.90 and art critique sessions for improvement [link]

Sequential pictorials on how to draw mechas like Gundams by Phil Kwok and Rick Tang from this website [link] and they are free too.

Manga Tutorials is a pretty good site for beginners who want to learn the trade and the site is pretty well equipped with step-step tutorials. Best of all, it’s free [link]

Google is such a powerful search tool, so why not use it to search tutorials instead of looking for shallow stuffs like hentais and bishies? Too much fappings can turn you retarded.

Really, for people who aren’t bedridden, wheelchair bounded or breathing through an iron-lung apparatus, they just won’t make the effort to improve on what they really interested in. Since they find that learning is tough and take too long to master it they go the other way around and resort to CHEATING as there are many ways on how to cheat with today’s advanced imaging softwares like Photoshop. You don’t have to start everything from paper and you can do it all with just a click of the mouse.

Tracing, one of the most common method in art theft where all you have to do is trace someone’s work, it gets even more easy and cleaner with Photoshop with any downloaded images from various sites, you can even change the colours, flip it horizontal/vertical and no one can tell that it’s a plagiarized work. Here’s an example:[link]

Want to draw a mech but you find it too difficult? No worries, all you need to do is first, gather as much mecha linearts from such sites like [link] and [link] where linearts are FREE and no one will prosecutes you for art infringements. After you gather enough works you want to plagiarize, here’s how you do it:[link]

See? It’s so simple to be famous and get away with art infringements. You don’t have to learn how to hold a pencil, spend months on practices and face criticisms on your works. This is what attention seeking whores really need and it’s so EASY.

At the end, you’ve only help justify how people always say that DA is for half-pass-6 attention seeking whores to gain attentions with their sub-par/art thefts. So without the download linearts from your PC, you just can’t do anything with a pencil and a blank paper? Oh wait, actually you did try on drawing before. Like this one here:[link]

But you find it so tough to draw with a pencil and still refuse to learn because it took too long to get it right, so you resorted to CHEAT:[link]

Wow, it’s so easy, you think. So why bother to learn? You can thank your laziness for that.

"Self-Reflections"

Be it original, fan art or even a doodle, it’s not that you’re not talented or good at drawing, it’s because you didn’t even try hard enough and you find learning a total waste of time. Otherwise, you’re actually BLIND. When people told you that your works aren’t up-to-par, need more improvements and discourage you from cheating, you shouldn’t behave like whiny little boys who refused to go to school because they felt everyone at school are against them. No one is against you except yourself, it’s all in your head and if you can’t get out of your little virtual world like online forums which are meant to be online kindergartens, you can never face the real world and ended up becoming a closet faggot.

Oh, so the Elitists and Art Nazis are coming hard on you? Does that include your parents, teachers and even your best friends? Seriously, if no one really cares about what you do, they will see your works as garbage and won’t even offer you frank advices because they don’t care.

"HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ART?"

So people who criticize your works don’t know anything about art, then why don’t you ask yourself how much do you know about art? Can you explain your ideas and concept behind your works? Why you drew in this manner?

I’ve came across a lot of big mouths who claimed they know a lot about art, without having the basic knowledge and fundamental skills like sketching, painting, art histories etc. So it’s so simple to be great artists, huh? Then I supposed you don’t have problems with these tasks:

1. Can you do a sketch about this guy, lady, couple and dog?
2. Can you imagine a scene like a fire, accident, disco dancing?
3. Can you draw me a car, a mech, a warrior without references?
4. Can you draw me mountains, forests, streams and waterfalls?
5. Can you explain your ideas, concepts and techniques behind your works?

Well, can you? You would if you have the proper fundamentals and basic trainings to hone your skills to the max. Discovering other possible and creative ways to make art only come after you’ve made it through your fundamentals not just sheer out of sloppiness. No one takes sloppy works seriously because those are trashes.

So you don’t have to make up so many excuses to justify your half-pass-6 works, you aren’t good enough and all you can do is either continue to improve your skills or start look for a new hobby. That also includes art thefts like traced works and frankenmechs, you don’t have to hide under the fact you’re poor to gain sympathy, just say “I want attentions for my craps” since you enjoy behaving mentally challenged. These are collages? First of all, have you ever seen real collages? Like these examples:

[link]
[link]

Cut and paste things on a PC is termed as “Image Manipulation” which are CHEATING methods used by various jokers like pasting Mr. President’s head over JLO’s bikini body, a rabbit with caribou’s stag, a dog as big as an elephant next to barn etc. You can find them mostly on 4chan, 2chan, 7chan and many joker sites. Now why should I have respect for idiots who are good at making laughing stocks of themselves and art? I always wonder who is the idiot at mechatalk.net wrote these when the site actually encourages art thefts like frankenmechs:

“4. Do not plagiarize another artist's work and attempt to pass it off as your own. Any threads found to have artistic fraud will be deleted.”

“6. Do not make one line posts such as "Mech X rocks!" or "This is really nice." This is nothing more than spam. State reasons why you do or do not like a particular piece of art when you make a reply so something another member has posted.”

And this idiot here with his “Elitist” catchphrase: “;Protecting you from LAME mecha” and one of those losers advocating art thefts:[link]

"True Friends VS Toadies"

Of course there are those who always watch each other asses and would stand up for each other even one screwed up big time. When someone made any remarks deemed blasphemous and different from the toadies point of view, the toadies will come in hordes and hurl you with all sorts of insults which commonly known as SPAMS hopefully it would drown your voice from being heard. I’ve seen this kind of mob mentality, not just online but also in the streets where gangsters, thugs, religious extremists and political parties. Such is called cronyism and often a common practice in any human society. Confucius once says:

“Do not worry that you have no positions, worry that you may not have the necessary qualifications
Do not worry that you’re not being discovered, ask yourself what is it you have that is worthy of people recognition”

“A virtuous man is never alone; Other who are as virtuous as he is are bound to be drawn to him”

Sometimes, I wonder what does it means true friends and how to tell them from the toadies:

-Is that person should be supportive to you in any situation?
-Someone who comes to your aid in times of hardships?
-Someone to comfort you when you’re down and help you go through depressions?
-Who can right you from the wrongs you’ve committed or simply get into the same mess you’re in?
-Who is happy to be with you without hoping for something in return?

I leave that to you since it’s you who should be able to tell who your true friends are. Aside from those I’ve met in real life, the rest of you are still total strangers to me. So I don’t enjoy to be pretentious over your work whether good or bad, I only give frank opinions be it music to your ears or pain to your pride. It’s not what you want from me; it’s what you see in me.

You can say that I’m just good at repeating the same old crap over and over again. Why of course, because common senses are principles and morals and they are solid to the point. What more, common senses are like little voices inside your head and keep ringing all the time. Unlike excuses which are weak and ever twisting, faggots keep making up excuses after excuses when they can’t explain their poor skills and plagiarize works. Anyone made straight comments against them is a troll because trolls don’t sound like cocksuckers for their half-pass-6 works.

Out of all the worst things a person can do is to make a fool of him or herself. Is it so much fun to lie to yourself? What kind of logic is that? I'm glad that I’ve never lied to anyone (include myself) about my abilities because I know exactly what I have and what I don’t. Unlike those who plagiarize others’ artworks for petty fames, they just can’t face up the fact that what they did are just making fools not of others but themselves too. So who is foolish now?

"Conclusion"

Many told me not to bother with these bunch of hacks since they are too dickheaded to get the message straight and simply not worth the time with. Of course those losers aren’t worth the time and I don’t see myself hanging out with them at all. But it’s really worth my time to speak out against art thefts since it’s a cancer that plagued DeviantArt and it stays there until DA totally gone offline. What more, I sincerely hope the handicapped artists from MFPA would be inspirational for those aspiring amateurs here at DA and help them push themselves to be better. DA is not a site for seeking attentions which you don’t get in real life but a place for seriously art enthusiasts of all mediums and trends to gather together and exchange knowledge. Need more attentions? Just go to any auditions for reality TV shows or simply jump off any high rise buildings. Really, too many attentions can make your head swells and when your pride is above your head, that’s when your works also go downhill. So be humble all the time as your work represents you.

Wow, you've got one heaven of a teacher.

But well, I'm certainly one of those loser cause i never cared yet about making a mech with dynamic pose, cool scenery behind, hells of effect and etc.

Cause what i want to be is a mech designer, i want the mech that i designed to have the power that they deserve, i don't want to design a cool mecha and state it as a mech with overwhelming power while i myself don't know what makes them strong or will they really be that strong.

So, there is an artist and there is a designer, they may look the same but actually they're different and what makes them different is not what they create, but the reason for them to create.

A handicapped artist does not need sympathies, they even hate sympathies from peoples, all they need is being on the same stage, fighting fairly with the non-handicapped people and win, that is the biggest honor they will want. What's the thrill for them if everyone of non-handicapped just give handicap thanks to sympathies? the trophy doesn't seem that great if you gain it via free-win. I bet most of the handicapped artist out there will facepalm if they saw their pitiful competition opponent

as someone who draws, my biggest fear is not that there's no one who cheers for me but no one dare or willing to speak out their thoughts. Having someone speaking out their thoughts is a bless especially they give their opinion and their thoughts about the particular work, if there's something you didn't notice but the peers point out, it is a free tip for you to improve that you might need to pay for.

However, I don't think it is good for the artists who didn't speak up their thoughts when the audience is going the wrong direction with their thought on the artpiece, audience is not always right and artists have the right to speak up their mind in order to get the audiences to agree with his/her idea, but if the audiences are right, listen and give thanks to their critique

V has state a good way to spot toadies from friends, I would like to add another point
-a true friend does everything he/she can to help you, even it means making you hates him/her for the right decision he/she makes

normally toadies will try to keep a good image with you, they will keep out of things that will make them look bad on you unless you are no longer be any use for them
