The star of today's featured fandom is known for being blue, fast, and completely naked, save for some decidedly stylish shoes and gloves. If you haven't figured out who it is yet, you're probably new to the internet.

Yes, it's Sonic the Hedgehog! His series of games, comics and cartoons are famous for inspiring oodles of drama. (Not to be confused with Drama the Poodle, which I'm pretty sure is the name of somebody's Sonic fancharacter, somewhere.) But for every ounce of drama, the Sonic fandom provides whole pounds of fine and dandy fanart.

For those of you on the metric system: That's a heck of a lot of fanart.

Now here is where we break tradition. For, in light of the recent my-computer-eating-certain-Word-files fiasco, I have decided to not state what fandoms will be featured in the next installments.

It's not that I dislike you guys and get some sick pleasure from keeping you all in the dark. I'd just rather not say "Hey guys, we're going to have a Pretty Warrior Princess feature next week!", and then shuffle up to you guys a week later with my head tucked down mumbling "Um, I accidentally deleted the Pretty Warrior Princess feature."

But I will, from time to time, post journal entries asking for y'all to beef up fanart suggestions in a particular area, which may gives clues as to what fandoms are planned for the coming months. *wink*
