With the holidays at hand, this can be a stressful time of the year. Everyone is busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. But do take a moment to check out these relevent glimpses into the future.
Murk will teach you how to be horrible. But in like, an empowering kind of way, that de-rails in to all sorts of tagental thoughts about the shifting morality of man in the urban age. And maybe what kind of cheese is good on crackers.
Most people would kill to know what their future holds. Fortunately, you don't have go quite that far. Consult these 'scopes and use this knowledge wisely. This is the straight dope. Honest. It took me something like 20 whole minutes to write this shit.
Tonight I was yet another victim of some deviant who is reporting deviations that don't break any rules, yet the mods are deleting them. My art was immediately deleted without a second thought, or even giving me a chance to defend myself. The only reasons I was given were "policy violation" and "prohibited content." I'm tired of seeing it happen, so I'm going to get attention! If you have been a victim of this too, please respond. We must get the attention of the moderators and administrators. They must see what's really going on and agree to take a closer look at the underlying problem!!
I'm not a victim, (yet) but I know one. I seriously think some of the mods are just deleting everything that comes their way, in order to get through their work lists, rather than asking themselves if what they're deleting is ACTUALLY violating a rule.

I believe our friend Trakker was a victim of this the other day. According to one of his journal entries here [link] some dickwad reported his Metal Tails sketch and it was promptly deleted for policy violation. That thing had been in his gallery for YEARS, and some asshat saw fit to take advantage of the horribly lazy staff to just report the damn thing?
I'm telling him to get in here and voice his victimizations. This is very unfair to everyone.
Looks like somebody has figured out that the moderators don't seem to be looking at the images they're deleting anymore. I've seen this happen to other people. So far I'm not a victim of it, but I expect it'll happen pretty soon here, given what I'm hearing lately.
Yeah a couple of times in the past and present that has happened to me, its a problem that wouldent exist if the mods took a min to look at the evedence
I can see you've never held a position in public relations. That isn't fair by any definition of the word; if quitting was the logical alternative, then I assure you ... you wouldn't have any administrators whatsoever, and this would be far worse than being unable to upload some of your pictures.
Until you understand the sheer torment that is trudging through the messages on a site founded on unlimited submission and unlimited report, where there are over twenty deviations a second, and multiple reports can be filed on a single submission, you have no business and no basis to criticize the administration for being unable to handle the workload. You'd do no better, and if it was in my power, I would invite you to try.

I like how they'll delete a picture of Sally Acorn as 'underage nudity' and then pick a nude photo of a real girl who looks fourteen as a Daily Deviation.
It's happened to friends of mine, too. None of mine yet, but we'll see.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
