This article showcases the work of overlooked traditional artists deserving more exposure. We strive to feature new and refreshing work from as many galleries as possible, so if you have any suggestions/questions feel free to note either one of us.
Congrats to the previously featured ~Scarecrow63 and ~boomslang-co-uk for being awarded Daily Deviations! Thank you for recognizing this unseen talent, ^stigmatattoo.
The vibrant colors of ~maartend's drawings nearly jump out of the screen! A lot of his work has to do with observing the behavior of humans, and their relationship with animals in particular. He also has a few bits of photography in his gallery, as well.
If I had to describe ~enigma119's work in only a few words I'd use intricate, enigmatic, and care-free! The amount of detail and her use of subtle tones is fantastic! Fullview is a must in this gallery!
~malarkyarts's surreal street art is absolutely stunning. The realistic shadows and beautiful colors pull you into the scenes he creates and makes you never want to leave.
~giega's impeccable style includes sweeping lines and poppy colors! There's nothing ordinary about his gallery.
~Tadul's emotive photos show that make-up is not restricted to one gender. The minimal use of make-up accentuates the model's dark features beautifully, revealing both a manly disposition and a softer side, as well.
~YellowZebra understands the human face and applies art to them flawlessly!
~Damostoaster has a wonderfully wacky style about his paintings. For any lover of the surrealism style, ~Damostoaster is a gem just waiting to be discovered!
Sometimes abstract art is confusing but ~toastmastergeneral's abstracts just aren't (take a few minutes to just stare at one of this deviant's masterpieces and you'll understand).
To tell you the truth, I know next to nothing about printing. But ~midgardweller has intrigued me to learn more about how he does what he does. Pay attention to the way he uses black with other colors and how he is able to emphasize certain elements by doing this.
~Jester-Design's username suits his work perfectly. His creations have a whimsical sense of wonder about them, allowing the viewer to see the world through a child's imaginative eyes once more.
~Ryan-DeadPhilosopher fascinates viewers by layering an enormous amount of techniques and mediums on his art work!
I think that experimenting is the key to bettering ourselves as artists and people by figuring out what we're truly capable of doing! *techitch34's typography experiment is a shining example of experimental success!
~momax skillfully arranges shapes and colors to create aesthetically-pleasing abstract collages. His entire gallery is full of awesome collage pieces, as well as paintings and photo manipulations.
Thank you a lot for featuring me! I am very proud to get a bit of spotlight despite my restricted gallery of work and my lack of activity on the website
It means a lot to me. I'll be checking this page from now on, because I really appreciate the effort you all put in exposing some of us and our work!
DeviantART is counting down to its 100 millionth deviation! Join in on the fun and take a look back at some of the most noteworthy deviations we've seen along the way. The deviant who uploads the 100 millionth deviation could win a special prize, too. Hurry, we're going to hit the 100 million mark soon!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
