Flip back time to the Golden Age of Film! The idea behind this contest is to do a piece inspired by the first few decades of film – the 1920s through the 1950s. Everything from silent movies to those crazy educational film strips, we want to see what kind of classic style you can bring to your art.

Art must be 100% you own work. No tracing, no fan art or fan characters or using actual movie characters or personalities.
Create your own movies and settings, whether they might be an homage, satirical, etc. This is a contest inspired by the Film era, so make your piece unique!
Art should be in anime/manga style. Any medium is welcome, traditional or digital, color or black and white/grayscale. This includes animations and film! You can enter two different pieces, though you can only win for one of them.
Contest will be judged by members of Artist Relations, not just technical skill alone but on creativity and interpretation of the theme. Don't worry if you don't think your art isn't "good enough". We're looking for the most unique entries!
