I've put this collection together because i fear for its survival. And all the others like them. To the best of my knowledge and beliefs, these images are free from the digital wrath. Free in the beauty and simplicity of the Olde Way, the wonder of film...photography the way it should be done. Children of the digital revolution may never discover the incredulous joy of creating an image from scratch. Of cross-processing, of cyanotypes, photograms, of developing under red light with the chemicals making you heady and the sense of fullfillment after coming out into the blinding light and having just 2 or 3 perfect prints, done and dusted (oh God - the Dust?! what a nightmare).
So it's for those fond memories i have of my introduction to Traditional Photography, i make this piece. For everyone out there still doing it the old way. This is for you.

So now, a plea to you, Please Don't Let All this Beauty Die.
All images/artists courtesy of ~AnalogPhotographers & *AnalogShots and their wonderful members. Thank you for reminding us.
