October is often viewed as the beginning of Fall, or Autumn, in most areas due to the cooler weather, for it is the time of the obvious turns nature takes. October is beautiful month to be celebrated. Things to be enjoyed are things like playing in the leaves, picking fall harvests, the cooling temperatures, and of course Halloween.

Lets start with some photography that portrays the essence of October. Photography is a hobby anybody with a camera can have, but it takes an eye for beauty to capture something that tells a story, or inspires sensations from the final result.





Digital Art is becoming more and more popular, especially with the low-cost, or even free programs becoming available to the common users. There is an endless list of possibilities of art to be created on the computer. Digital Art is my hobby and passion, so the the following artists have gained my appreciation.





Traditional Art should never be forgotten. I think it takes more skill to paint or draw something than clicking the mouse. I mean no disrespect towards the wonderful digital artists out there, but seeing how I have little natural talent for traditional art forms, I tend to fall for these remarkable forms faster.





When you think about October, usually Halloween comes to mind first. When you walk through a store, you see more things holiday related, rather than suited for the season. Halloween can be beautiful, scary, and wonderful themes for art.
