________ Gothic Beauty - Much more than just black clothes (II) ________
Gothics seem to have a certain attraction for many people, even a lot of those who would not count themselfes to the scene.
Why this? The dark, often old fashioned clothes ? The attractive legwear ? The big boots ? The pale, vampire like skin? Tattous and piercings galore ? The so obvious rebellion against mainstream fashion ?
Gothics are even often counted to the Fetish scene, or why I discover so many of this pics in the Fetish galleries, marked as mature content even if they are fully clothed?
Decide yourself and discover that Gothic Art on DA has much more to offer than just Girls wearing Black.

This collection has been collected for months, browsing the photography and stock-galleries.

Gothic fashion is a clothing style worn by members of the Goth subculture. It is stereotyped as a dark, sometimes morbid, eroticized fashion and style of dress.
Typical Gothic fashion includes black dyed hair and black clothes. Both male and female goths wear dark eyeliner and dark fingernails. Styles are often borrowed from the Elizabethans and Victorians.
The extent to which goths hold to this stereotype varies, though virtually all goths wear some of these elements.
Goth fashion is often confused with heavy metal fashion, and uninformed outsiders often mistake heavy metal fans or musicians for goth, particularly those who wear black trenchcoats or "corpse paint" (associated with black metal).

________ Gothic Lolita ________
Lolita fashion draws much of its inspiration from Rococo, Victorian-style and Edwardian fashion and often aims to imitate the look of Victorian children or porcelain dolls.
Gothic Lolita applies the aesthetics of Gothic fashion to the childlike, pretty Lolita fashion. The word Gothloli comes, quite naturally, from a combination of Lolita and Gothic fashion.
Gothic Lolita style is usually a combination of black and white, often black with white lace and typically decorated with ribbons and lace trims. Skirts are knee length and may have a crinoline or petticoat to add volume.
As in mainstream Japanese fashion, over-knee socks or stockings are popular. White or black tights are also common. Boots, rockinghorse shoes, or child-like shoes such as Mary Janes complete the look.
Frilly, ruffled or lace-trimmed Victorian blouses are also popular with Gothic Lolitas and designs are usually modest, sometimes with long lace-capped sleeves and/or high-necked blouses.
Some additions may include mini top hats, parasols, and lace headdresses, which resemble wide, elegantly decorated headbands. Other popular Lolita headgear are ribbons, lace or bows, an alice band with a bow or sometimes even a bonnet.
Hair is sometimes curled, or a curled wig is worn to complete the porcelain doll look. Blonde and black are the most popular hair colors, though as the fashion continues to develop, other colors (such as brown and red and other vivid colors) are increasing in popularity.

________ Cyber Goths ________
Cybergoth fashion resembles a combination of rave, rivethead, and goth fashion, as well as drawing inspiration from science fiction. Androgyny is common.
Current fashionable concepts include the use of one starkly contrasting bright or neon-reactive theme colour such as red, blue, neon green, chrome, or pink set against a basic, black gothic outfit.
Matte or glossy black materials such as rubber and shiny black PVC can be mixed and matched in an effort to create a more artificial look as in the Cyber subculture.
These stylistic differences help to discern a Cybergoth from a Cyberpunk.

I love goths, such a pity, that one can't see them often on the street.
Some photos are better, some are worse, but it's a magnificent gallery nonetheless. I miss the old Batcave...
