Most photographers that I know are like me-- They avoid being on the other side of the camera with almost as much passion as they pursue their own photography. Maybe it's out of shyness, or long habit, or low self-esteem, or very realistic conclusions that we are ugly, ugly people...

but it happens.
Even if that weren't the case for most of us, I would be impressed by photographers who take self-portraits. Think about it. Not only are they good photographers, but they are good enough to take a great photo without seeing it through the lens. Not only have they composed a portrait blind, but they themselves are beautiful (or whatever it is) enough to make that portrait shine. On top of all that, they are brave enough to get in front of the camera.
So this week, my tribute goes out to all of those photographers who have proven they are braver, more beautiful, and more talented than me-- all without breaking a sweat, and all at a single instant.

I hope you have enjoyed. See you next week.
