A monthly article rounding up a collective of Contests,features and Submissions to the Resources Gallery this last month.



On the 30th September ^deviantartfilm celebrated it's first anniversary since the box office doors opened.And in support of this auspicious occasion we at Resources joined in the celebration by inviting you to take part in a couple of collaborative challenges.

Jamming

*dA-ArtJam is one of the newest community projects that hosts live "Deviously Sweet Contests and challenges" and they are looking to be "Deviantly Inspired" by you the community.This is your chance to get involved and help expose Resources.If you or any of your friends have Resources that might fit their up and coming challenges all you have to do is leave a link to that Stock or Resource in their stock fav folders of the given challenges.These Resources will be a permanent feature of those folders while others will be chosen for the challenge.

Right now they are looking for Stocks and Resources that fit the descriptions below for their ArtJam challenge that will be held this weekend.

The full moon / spooky woods / wolves / night sky / fangs

ArtJam-12-Full Moon

bridal dress or gown! / sorrowful, sad / cold, pale / night

ArtJam-13-Corpse Bride

Saturday 4th Oct @ 4:30pm BST / 11:30am EDT / 08:30am PDT in #ArtJam

Each each challenge will last 2 hours,during which time everyone is invited along to take part.

Clubs & Communities.

Clubs and communities are an excellent way to further expose your Stocks & Resources to the community as well as a one click away to finding collectives of Resources that any photomanipulator cannot be without.I have started a small registry of Resource & Stock club accounts but need your help if you see I have missed any out or would like yours to be included... more info here...[link]

*Devious-Exchanges are a Community of Resource Artists who are dedicated and committed in producing high quality Exclusive provisions for the Members of Deviant Art. Thus sometimes the need to categorize these high end mercantile-able resources as "Exclusive" has been the necessary resort of the provider. For in producing these materials, the overhead cost can be depleting financially. Therefore the need to ask for donations and help.
We gather here to share our exclusive works with other Resource Providers who may be in need and with those whom have donated to our cause. We also provide our Resources to other group Members who may be in need of a prize donation for a featured contest. Taken from thier journal

The Unrestricted Use Stock & Resources Directory

Unrestricted stock can be used for both personal and commercial projects, but it cannot be redistributed as stock. You are not required to obtain permission prior to using the stock off site or in dA prints. The only requirements are that the stock provider be notified and credited.
If you feel that you would like to join this overgrowing directory head over to the ^LawrenceDeDark'sUnrestircted Stock Directory and leave your mark.

^LawrenceDeDark also takes community choice suggestions for Stock and Resources.If there is anything you have seen that catches your eye and would like to be included in his features send him a note titled "CC" and include 3 or 4 works that you would to have included.
