YAY, I want to start a contest!

The rules are simple: just illustrate one of my themes Well, there will be more rules than that, but I'll get there. The three themes are as follows~

~ Descent Into Madness ~
This one is pretty open, but note that I always like a good dark, macabre, disturbing thing going. I like pretty things falling from grace, breaking, etc. Make me shudder and you're definitely doing well.

~ Colour Me Indigo ~
Another one pretty open for interpretation: indigoes and blues are my favourite colours, but also try to involve their complementary colours as well. I like balance and colour-contrast. But make it predominantly a cold colour~

~ Sweet Poison ~
Give me something disturbing for this one as well, something sickly-sweet yet bitter and somewhat frightening. Surprise me.

Sound fun? It better, it took me awhile to come up with two other themes; originally there was only going to be one. Anyhow, here are the additional rules~

Rules:
Both visual art AND literature is allowed.
No fanart. Sorry, but I prefer your OWN creations.
If you choose literature, it can be either poetry or prose, but don't write me a novel.
If you choose visual art, include a background...or don't, if you so choose, but I prefer backgrounds and as the contest holder, I am now God.
Remember my love of dark and disturbing things <3

No more than three entries per person, and you can enter in more than one of the categories.

Gah, I know the prizes aren't very good yet! But I was hoping to have some people donate prizes. It doesn't have to be anything special, just use your imagination If you want to donate a prize, note me and I'll add it to the list right away

Hey Katey, why are all your contest themes so dark? WELL, anonymous question-asker, they are dark because I LOVE dark, so make your entry dark and I shall make your life happy!

Will the deadline be extended if need be? Hmm...I'd prefer not to extend the deadline, but if there are very little entries, then I may extend the deadline.

Prismacolour pencils? Cool, huh? Although if the winner is unwilling to give me his or her address for me to mail the pencils, then I suppose it would go to someone else. I would offer Prismacolour markers, but my craft store sucks and only has the pencils.

Aw, no subs for prizes? Believe me, I want there to be subscriptions as prizes. But I'm poor and lack a paypal account, so I'm just really hoping someone would be kind enough to donate a sub as a prize.
