“Victorian Nightmares” Contest



The theme of my new contest is “Victorian Nightmares” – that means that I’m expecting spooky, thrilling, dark and macabre images – with a Victorian theme! They can be inspired by books, movies or just by your imagination. And of course, I’d love to see creative and original interpretations of the theme! There are lots of amazing Victorian stocks on DA, so check the rules below and get to work!


Rules:

* The contest starts on October 20th. All entries must be submitted to DA after this date – the idea of the contest is to challenge participants to create a picture, not to submit an old work which just happens to meet the theme!
* The deadline for submissions is November 30th.
* The following categories are allowed: 3D and Fractal Art, Photo-manipulation, Painting and Airbrushing, Mixed Media – that’s it! No other categories accepted, sorry!
* The deviation must be new, and you must write in the description - that it is for this contest and link back to this journal.
* One entry per person.
* You must credit all the stocks you used in the description of your deviation, as usual.
* Your entry must fit the theme!
* All entries must be sent to me: *Asaenath with the subject "Victorian Nightmares".
