ProjectComment is a project that features the generally obscured and underappreciated artists and their art in regular news articles. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to

this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a
true difference to the artists featured here.

#o7: Is there anything you would like to add about self-perception, online communication v. real life communication, and online relationships?
AS I SAID IN MY NOTE, ABOUT THE INFLICTION & EMOTION OF COMMUNICATION
... I CAN EASILY SAY THAT THERE ARE NEGATIVES TO THAT.
PEOPLE ONLINE CAN CARRY OVER LUGGAGE FROM HIGH SCHOOL (AS IN REAL LIFE) BY CREATING CLICKS WITHIN THEIR ONLINE LIVES.
THEY RIDE ON THE COAT TAILS OF OTHERS TRYING DESPERATELY TO KISS THEIR ASSES.
I'M AFRAID *THAT ROAD IS SUFFOCATING A GOOD & REAL RELATIONSHIP.
ALL IN ALL, YOU HAVE TO EITHER SEPARATE THE 2 ENTITIES
OR LIVE IN JUST THE ONE.
... MAKE IT WHAT YOU NEED TO, BUT IN THE END
ONLINE COMMUNICATION WILL MATCH THE FACE TO FACE.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR WRITING THIS ARTICLE
ON COMMUNICATION.

GSK PROGRESS: GETTING TO KNOW ME
STOCK RULES
Pretty much only when i'm not outside having a smokebreak.
2. Who do you communicate with online; what sort of online relationships have you established?
I liked it a lot more when the internet was smaller, and everyone i'd talk to was somebody i didn't know. Nowadays i run into people who know me a lot, and it sketches me out.
3. Do you feel more or less connected to people when using online communication
I can communicate a lot more eloquently online, so more connected.
4. How well do you believe you know strictly online friends or romantic partners? How does the internet hinder and help your relationships?
You can't hear their beautiful voice.
5. Do you feel you express your emotions better via text, instant messaging, and email or phone and face-to-face conversation? How do you communicate differently online verses real life?
I this one is answered in the last two or three.
6. Do you feel you present "the real you" better in person or online? How much information do you divulge to the internet (blogs, social networking) and how much to real life (conversations, meetings, appearance)?
IRL me is wicked. Being graced by my presence is something special.
I used to talk a lot more on blogs and stuff, but, people I know are starting to read them. I rarely talk about anything important or personal anymore online.
7. Is there anything you would like to add about self-perception, online communication v. real life communication, and online relationships?
Anonymous is the final boss of the internet.
8. How much time do you spend on deviantArt? Do you feel you express yourself better in your art and opinions on dA than real life?
DA is usually open, or i'm browsing art. It's a rich experience in expression both in hearing praise or critiquing on your art or praising others' art.

Daily, I'll say about half the day through.
I use it for browsing, learning from tutorials, entertainment, watching streaming movies, downloading tutorials, videos, games and applications and of course for submitting art
2. Who do you communicate with online; what sort of online relationships have you established? (Romantic, friendships, family. This can be both in real life and online.)
My current boyfriend I met online, about 8 years ago, but it quickly left the online area and moved on to real life. I establish many friend connections through the internet and it is also my main tool in keeping in touch with my family since they all live abroad.
3. Do you feel more or less connected to people when using online communication (blogging, texting, facebook, myspace, dA. Please be detailed.)
I think it is very easy to feel more connected online very quickly, but when it comes right down to it, a good, strong relationship, in my opinion, can only exist in real life, because someone who is there for you physically right when you need it is far more valuable than someone 10,000 miles away that cannot help you but with kind words.
4. How well do you believe you know strictly online friends or romantic partners? How does the internet hinder and help your relationships?
I somewhat answered that in the previous question. I do believe you get to know online friends in certain aspects quite well. But you only know them in a strictly controlled, free from impulses environment. If, for example, an emergency comes up, you can't see how the person reacts in real time. All you get is 'brb' and you hear them afterwards.
So, as I said, you know them in one aspect, but certainly not as well as you would real life friends.
5. Do you feel you express your emotions better via text, instant messaging, and email or phone and face-to-face conversation? How do you communicate differently online verses real life?
I feel that I am more descriptive online, but I don't think that necessarily shows more emotion or expresses how I feel better. It's just words... face to face or even on the phone there's a whole connection, your body language, your smiles, the way you interact with a person. A whole new layer of emotions that you can never express to someone over text. They can't see your excitement or feel your pain.
6. Do you feel you present "the real you" better in person or online? How much information do you divulge to the internet (blogs, social networking) and how much to real life (conversations, meetings, appearance)?
I think there is no real me. The 'online' me is just another aspect of myself. I do act differently but that's because they are different situations.
I don't divulge so much information online. I do more so in real life. Conversations in real life tend to get deeper quite quickly and more personal in way that, you hear about the person's day to day life rather than just an event here and there.
7. Is there anything you would like to add about self-perception, online communication v. real life communication, and online relationships?
I think I pretty much explained it all already
8. How much time do you spend on deviantArt? Do you feel you express yourself better in your art and opinions on dA than real life?
I spend about 4-5 hours on deviantART a day, more on weekends and holidays.
I don't think I express myself better on dA than I do in real life. As a matter of fact it is probably the other way around. It is much easier for me to get into meaningful discussions in my native tongue than it is in English
