Job Title: Email Marketing Manager

Objectives:

• Establish email marketing initiatives, integrate and implement new email vendor.


• Manage the creation and execution of all strategic and tactical elements of email campaigns.


• Define and document email marketing requirements and collaborate with internal communication and technical teams to produce email deliverables.


• Continually create, design, develop, test, QA, optimize, deploy, monitor and report on entire portfolio of email marketing campaigns.


• Set creative direction for creative teams, including campaign objectives, messaging, and potential templates to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all marketing functions.


• Analyze and improve key metrics (opens, clicks and conversions) campaign metrics to drive day-to-day business decisions and determine future initiatives.


• Create segmentation plans and develop targeted and trigger-based email campaigns that deliver tailored marketing messages to key segments of the list.


• Develop and execute plans to automate key email campaigns.


• Ensure that email campaigns are in compliance with industry standards and various privacy rules (including CAN-SPAM), regulations and internal communication policies.


• Work with third party email vendor to identify and troubleshoot problems.


• Manage internal and external resources to ensure that campaigns are executed accurately, effectively, and within budget.

Online Marketing:

• Manage and execute timely launch of online media campaigns including new campaign setup of paid search campaigns, affiliate marketing and media buys.


• Develop, optimize and trouble shoot paid search campaigns; play a key role in strategic direction, keyword management and expansion, bid optimization, ad copy creation and campaign audits.


• Oversee and monitor ongoing campaign performance, manage relationships with search engine vendors and maintain online advertising budget for specific conversion and acquisition metrics.


• Potentially identify and implement search engine optimization strategies to increase site ranking and traffic.


• Create strategy and chart course for growing the affiliate channel. Manage new affiliate network and negotiate payouts for affiliates on all campaigns.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience managing and deploying of large email marketing campaigns through third-party email service providers.


• Deep knowledge of online marketing and strong understanding of online media, email campaigns, design and development. Experience with e-commerce client required.


• Prior SEM experience preferred.


• Familiarity with ad serving or campaign management systems including DART, Atlas DMT, or Omniture preferred.


• Proven history of being able to work under pressure, multi task and to meet deadlines. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


• Effective project management and analytical skills with ability to adjust to shifting priorities.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally, between technical and non- technical teams.


• Passion for learning new online and interactive technologies.


• This position is located in Los Angeles, CA. Limited relocation assistance available.

Job Title: Senior Account Executive

DeviantART is looking for a Senior Account Executive to open our New York City office. This role offers the chance to expand and grow within a start-up company and work closely with the Vice President of Sales. Work from home for the first 6-months, then help staff-up the NYC office.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prospect, pitch, and close sales


• Identify the online advertising needs of agencies and clients and work with the Marketing team to propose efficient solutions


• Establish strong relationships with advertising agency personnel including all decision-makers and key influencers from Junior Media Planners to top management


• Ability to pull comScore numbers and @tplan numbers for research for campaign strategies and recommendations


• Become a positive and influential presence in your region


• Travel up to 25%


• Entertain Junior Media Planners at night during the week to build strong relationships

Skills:

• Minimum 4 years interactive account management and online media sales


• Must be a self-starter and extremely self-sufficient


• Bachelor's degree


• Desire to build lasting client and agency relationships


• Experience taking ownership of a project and seeing it through to completion

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prospect, pitch, and close sales


• Learn and grow while developing expertise in the fastest growing segment of online advertising – community/social networking


• Manage all non-technical aspects of client campaigns and relationships


• Some travel required


• Will need to entertain clients twice a week in the evenings

Skills:

• YOU MUST HAVE ONLINE ADVERTISING EXPERIENCE (sales or agency), – MUST KNOW ATLAS AND MEDIAVISOR. MUST KNOW HOW TO FILL-OUT RFP EXCEL GRIDS.
