Following the article released twenty minutes ago

(I'm a little late this month), of
Art History Spotlight: Abstract, the Traditional Gallery presents to you:
Drumroll, please...
The Art History Contest!
Each month, as we address different movements, chosen by you in a poll, there will be an educational article followed by a contest on the movement itself.
This month, your mission is to create an
original Traditional work based on the Abstract Style.
Prizes first:
First Prize: 25 deviant dollars and a 3 month subscription
Second Prize: 10 deviant dollars and a 3 month subscription
Third Prize: 3 month subscription
Rules
Only traditional media will be accepted. All traditional media is accepted.
The piece must reflect at least some of the techniques described in the Art History Spotlight article. Must be in the style of Abstraction!!

The piece must be new, submitted as of this date.

Work must be entirely your own! No remakes allowed!

You have until
November 25, 2008, 11:59 pm EST (GMT-5) to submit your entries.

Submit your work to
Contests & Projects> Contests> 2008> Art History> Abstract!! (That's a category)

You may have as many entries as you'd like, but only one can place. (I.e. You can't win first and third.)
Judging will be based on relevance to the style described and creative vision.
