I'm an ammature at writing I suppose so don't expect this to be super long and intellegent sounding. I dont want to be called an anime tard for saying this but i completely disagree with the people who say "Anime is not art."

Art is the process or product of deliberately and creatively arranging elements in a way that appeals to the senses or emotions, especially beauty. In its narrow sense, the word art most often refers specifically to the visual arts, including media such as painting, sculpture, and printmaking.

Anyway...note the word "creativity"...for now...lets not talk about the people who copy other drawings, and trace. Im mainly talking about the anime drawings that are original. Some Fanart i think can be concidered mildly original IF the pose and some aspect of it is original. The only thing that would take away from its originality would be that the character was not created by them.

So anyway....the people who say anime is not art......is this art? [link]

The only way something can be called art is if its realistic or like a mona lisa painting? So what do we call anime then? What do we call cartoons? Because anime is basically cartoons. So theyre pretty much like....totally related I guess? So yeah....spongebob illustrations = [insert replacement name for art] (Lulz to the first person who says "Crap" XD)

Isn't graffiti concidered art? Why cant anime be? Anime is a little more complex than those fancy gangster paintings of words on walls wouldnt you say?

All i'm saying is that i think art takes on many forms. Whether it be realitic drawings, scenery, anime, photography, Poety, Hilary clinton, (KIDDIN' >w> etc.

So yeah I would like to hear the opinions of everyone. Whether you agree or disagree.

Yes I know my argument could possibly be concidered to be Appauling and i deserve to be flogged and spam with hate comments but you dont need to say it since i might already be aware.
