My 11th Poetry Competition
Well the Deathly Competition is over (if you missed it you can see the winners list here) so its time for another competition. You can also check out my very groovy Karaoke competition hehe.

This month we are leading up to Christmas. December is almost upon us and I love Christmas. Not because of the presents, the food, the pretty twinkling lights (okay the little twinklies have a lot to do with it) but because I love the excuse to tell people how much I adore them. Christmas, for me, is all about the love.

So this month I am requesting that you guys write a poem giving love to someone who really needs it.

I want to read your poems about what you like about yourself. Now, I always leave the themes open to interpretation so if you really must write a poem that says 'Whats good about me... Nothing' then go ahead, but it won't make you feel better. So dig deep and try to think of simply ANYTHING that you like about yourself.

Because I like all of you.

(+) Visual poetry will be accepted this month!
(+) Judges will be eligible to win again, but not allowed to cast any vote on their own piece.
(+) Your entry must be sent in a note to me (*Flutterings)
(+) All languages welcome but you must provide an english translation so we can study the meaning behind the words as well as the composition and words.

(+) There is no age restriction on this competition
(+) We must have received your entry by the time the deadline closes on 12th of December
(+) Prose will not be accepted
(+) One entry per person
(+) The entry must be new. Therefore posted after 9th of November
(+) Important the deadline is in GMT!
(+) The judges will not comment on your work until the competition closes (for fairness sake).
(+) We reserve the right to edit this information, including the rules, up to the date of 8th of December

How To Enter
(+) Write a new poem.
(+) Submit it to DeviantART (in the right category please!!)
(+) Link to the competition in the Artists Comments
(+) Copy the address URL
(+) Send a note to *Flutterings with the link in it.
(+) She will post a comment on your deviation saying 'Thanks for entering'. Once you have recieved that comment you are entered in the competition. (Please do not worry if it takes a few days to get this confirmation)
