We all know DeviantART is a community for artists.
But doesn't 'deviant' mean it should be open-minded towards all art?



How is it that full-nudity pictures of two women touching each other is completely fine; and left alone even when reported, but a piece of text gets removed?

Sure, the stories which are getting removed have 'erotica' in them, but it's not shoved in your face the moment you click on it, like with the photography.



First of all; there is the Mature Content Filter.
Doesn't that say enough? Where is it for if deviations that have a Filter on them still get deleted?

Then there is the warning that people often put above their works.
Things like "Contains yaoi, yuri, boy love, sex..." are seen before the rest of the text. People who do not want to read it, are warned twice now.



Also, we the deviants, are not kids.
If we put on the news we see more shocking stuff.
Accept this; alternative art is art too.

If Fetish is considered art then open your mind towards texts that have seksual themes in it.

Don't ban people that enjoy their work!
Deviants are supposed to be free in what they do;
for what they do is showing the world a whole new side of things.
