Comic Fiesta [link] is an annual comic event in Malaysia.
As Malaysia's largest comic convention, talents from
across the country (and even some abroad) come together for more than a simple gathering of shared interests and passion.

Comic Fiesta 2008 partners, Hewlett-Packard and AMD, have drafted the idea of publishing an coffeetable illustration book in conjunction with Comic Fiesta 2008. The book is to be sold to generate funds, which will be channeled to World Vision ( [link] ).

Comic Fiesta 2008 will like to invite you to participate in this endeavour and give you this once-of-a-lifetime opportunity to contribute to an effort that is aimed at helping people who are in need through your art. We hope you will be able to join as it is a great avenue to put your talent to help a greater cause.

HP and AMD only needs 15 artworks to be illustrated based on this theme: ""Envision how technology solutions (this could include building automation, home automation, transportation, etc) will evolve in future." The featured solution/equipment is to have both HP & AMD branding on it. The deadline they are targeting for is end of November. If you happen to have any artworks on hand that matches the selected theme, you can probably re-work it and re-use it for this publication.


Each artist that participates will receive a token of appreciation from HP and AMD for their hard work and exceptional effort. Also, you will have your name credited to the works alongside a short (one paragraph) excerpt.

This charity drive is open to everyone in the world

There is no specifications for what kind of what artwork size or type, but since it is for publishing, A4/300dpi submissions will be good.
