Job Title: Quality Assurance Tester
Job Description & ResponsibilitiesWorking within both the devious Technology and Community Operations teams, the successful candidate will focus on providing Quality Assurance testing for all areas of the deviantART site. The position involves intensive cross browser testing and bug reporting. The ability to detail findings to our devious Technology department in a clear, concise, and detailed manner is essential in order to ensure replication in further testing.
As this position involves providing regression testing throughout all areas of our site, previous experience in a testing environment is essential. The ability to provide organized documentation to support your findings is also essential, as is the ability to work under minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for effective, timely, and efficient analysis of potential issues and a swift escalation of findings.
The position involves communicating directly with the community in public beta testing programs, which requires excellent communication skills, and therefore, a good knowledge of the deviantART community is essential. The position is full time. Remote working may be considered.
Essential Skills and Experience
Above average computer skills

Age 18 or over, in possession of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate

Knowledge and understanding of various browsers, e.g. IE, Firefox, Opera

Attention to detail

Above average knowledge of deviantART

Ability to work with little supervision

Strong organizational skills

Previous experience in a cross browser testing environment

Previous experience in regression testing

Previous experience with an automated browser testing environment, e.g. using Selenium, ability to develop testing scenarios independently

Effective communicator, experience in bug reporting and information analysis

Process-oriented, confident to work with issue tracking, can escalate and follow through on serious issues
