For those interested in text based, chat style RP in a Steampunk Fantasy setting, we proudly introduce Rusty Pendulum.

Synopsis: Join and play as a resident in a world called Pheresha, a beautiful world full of steam powered monarchy, clockwork androids, robust and shining soldiers, keen tinkerers, and strangely beautiful landscapes. Run a busy shop, run your tail as a sky-pirate or earn your place some other way. Make your way in the world either by working hard or by being clever enough to not have to work hard.

Game play: While mechanics of the game are based on DnD style rules the actual game itself is played through text. Each player writes out a description of what he or she is doing and then the next player will react and so on. Excellent examples can be found here [link] and here [link] .

There are three playable creatures; Human, Android or Felinious (cat-folk). And, while there is no magic in the game of Rusty Pendulum, there are plenty of scientific possibilities!

Currently, we are looking to fill these playable positions:
Head Handmaid for the Queen
Captain of the Guard and his Right-hand Man
Professors for Anowar University
Pirate King/Queen and their crews
Warden of the Industrial Parkways
