Daily Deviations: A Guide

So, a lot of people seem to have quite a bit of confusion about Daily Deviations.
So I plan to explain the process of suggesting a Daily Deviation.

What is a Daily Deviation?
A Daily Deviation (DD) are deviations that are selected by Gallery Moderators, which are then promoted in the Daily Deviation section in the footer of dA, this rotation of images changes everyday.
Deviants suggest images they feel should receive a Daily Deviation to the correct Gallery Moderator and the rest is magical.

What is the point of a Daily Deviation?
It gives exposure to art that is really outstanding, original, informative or inspirational.
This exposure gives the opportunity for lots of people to appreciate the deviation and also gives gratification to the artist.

Where you come in?
Everyone in the community have the ability to suggest a DD. And you should do so when you find a piece of art that you really like and feel deserves a bit more exposure.

How do I suggest a Daily Deviation
This is where most the confusion stands so follow my step by step guide.

1)Find the image you wish to suggest as a Daily Deviation.
2)Take a look at it's category, this can be found under the name of the image.
3)Find the moderator of that gallery or category. To do this go to CR Team.
4)Once you have found the appropriate moderator you need to send a note to them.
5)The note should:
have the title "DD Suggestion".
include the thumb code of the deviation, this is on the right side of the artists comment.
have a little description of why you feel it should get a Daily Deviation.
and hit send.

Is there an easier way?
Yes there is, `Solitude12 made an awesome script for Greasemonkey
To use this script you need Firefox 2 or higher and the Greasemonkey
extension installed into it. Then you just have to install SuggestDD script.
This script basically does the hard work of finding the correct Gallery Moderator and sending them a note for you.
