Merry Christmas to you out there but don't forget: we are only guests here and so...listen to my favourite words... and look at all these wonderful pieces of art
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
I want to introduce a new Macro-Photography-Forum that was recently launched by ~amelsen and *dalantech.
<img src="http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r251/webcruiser/livingpixels.jpg" alt=".living.pixels." /> .living.pixels.[link] an online asylum for macro photographers
It is dedicated to close-up and macro.
"The .living.pixels. community welcomes all close-up and macro photographers who has a desire to share pictures, ask questions, read news & reviews, discuss gear and techniques and more."
This great Site for every Macro-Photographer or everybody who is interested in Macro-Photography is very new and the Community is not that big at this moment with 52 Members. But there are great photos (directly linked to deviantART or flickr), discussions and informations. And it would be great to see other Macro-Photographers join this Community!
Here is an assortment of members that are deviants at the same time as an little appetizer. There are much more and don't be mad when you can't find yourself here.
~amelsenAllan Melsen (Founder and Owner of livingpixels.org from Denmark)
Sorry for this smaller selection Allan, but I think you are just to busy with livingpixels.
*dalantechJohn Kimbler (Co-Founder of livingpixels.org from the United States living in Italy)
~AlliecAlistair Campbell (active member of livingpixels.org from the United Kingdom)
~MoeplingThomas Qu (active member of livingpixels.org from Germany)

I hope you enjoyed this news and I hope too that you will find your way to .living.pixels. [link] ! Please it if you love it!
Just as a little history behind .living.pixels. and why John and I decided to do it...
All around the world there are plenty of websites with showcase galleries.. But as for a fully dedicated website, with focus on macro photography, sharing knowledge and generally just providing a source for inspiration and improving/getting feedback on your pictures... we just didn't find that there was any of those on the internet.
Sure, you can find websites that support macro photography, but they often have a much bigger scope and covers many more photography styles. We at .living.pixels. are fully dedicated to the art of close-up and macro photography.
Hope to you see you all there.
Thanks.

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
