These will be a part of the themed month I'm having to highlight all aspects of this much loved genre.
A collection of under-rated photographs, uploaded in the last 24 hours. To keep at the top of the dA system, it is imperative to gain favs, views and comments as soon as a deviation is uploaded.
A collection of inspirational and special selected photos during the last weeks. Being an artist is more then just making artwork, it is about appreciating other peoples wonderful visions. Show them some love
Long before there were digital image editing tools such as Photoshop, photographers found ways to manipulate their photos. Manipulation to developing Polaroids was just one of the traditional means of manipulation. If you are ever fortunate enough to have a Polaroid camera and a manipulable film type, you can try your hand at SX-70 manipulations. One of our resident deviants, ~scab-lab, wrote a wonderful article on the topic for the October issues of Light Leaks Magazine, which you can purchase! I also found an entertaining video on youtube. Finally, you won't want to miss the gallery of ~PolaroidVanGogh, who has spent almost all of his time as a photographer working with Polaroid film types.
Nice article! I find Jerry Uelsmann's chemical photo-composites and other nondigital manipulations really fascinating, even though I've only ever worked with digital. Thanks for sharing these
What? I've never heard of such a thing..."Manipulation without photoshop" It's not possible!
</sarcasm>
I'll try experimenting with some kind of manipulation some day in the dark room.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
