ITgraphics, a relatively new Australian Design magazine is holding the first national awards aimed at identifying and recognizing some of this countries best professional and student* designers.

The award ceremony held in Sydney later this year will recognize candidates in categories including Multimedia, Short Animation, Digital Imaging, Print Corporate, Print Advertising, Print Magazine, Packaging and Website design. Entries must be produced after Jan 1 2001 and can be submitted up until April the 15 2002 by post.

Student entries are free, with the professional sector paying $45 per entry, in exchange for the chance at national recognition and impressive
prizes in both categories.

*Enrolment in a tertiary course related to some aspect of design is required for entry in the student categories.
