I was inspired by `GaioumonBatou's recent Thanksgiving Note Project, so since it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, I decided I'd run a little project of my own.

The Christmas and winter season are my favorite time of year because everything just seems so magical- but also because my family has some great traditions that I look forward to around this holiday time.

So, I want to know what your holiday traditions are. Whether you partake in Christmas, Hanukkah, or another holiday or celebration, feel free to take part in this effort! As long as your yearly tradition makes you happy, then why not share it?

Here's what you do:

Open up a note and address it to me (*mode-de-vie). Put the words "Holiday Traditions" in the subject line.
In the body of the note, write about your holiday tradition. There's no required length, so type as much or as little as you like!
When you're finished, hit send!

Once the project ends, I'll put all the responses into a news article (no user names will be attached to responses; it makes things more interesting).

Oh, and one more thing: Three participants will be chosen to win a little something special. These three will be picked randomly, just for entering, so what are you waiting for?
