*PhotographersClub is pleased to announce the opening of our new contest: 'Holiday Photo Story'.

The Objective: to create a story which shares your experience of, your concepts on, and/or your observations on what goes on in the holiday season, whatever you may celebrate.

Please read the rules and guidelines before you send in your entry!

The contest opens on Monday, December 15, 2008 and closes on Thursday, January 15, 2009.

The Rules:
Your entry must tell a story of some kind, related to the Holiday Season. Whether it be conceptual or more direct, it must be apparent that a story is being told.
Your photo story must comprise a minimum of two photographs. The maximum number of photographs allowed is twelve.
Your submission must be a new series specifically created for this theme.
Photomanipulations are not allowed.
Captions may be used.

Guidelines:
Please avoid uploading very large images, it doesn't allow people to enjoy the story as much when there is too much horizontal as well as vertical scrolling involved.
Try to capture the spirit of the season, or do the opposite and show the downsides -- it's completely up to you. Use your imagination! Major plus points for originality!
When using models, avoid over-using blank expressions. Show some emotion, it makes for a more interesting story.
You may put all of your images together to create one piece, or you may provide us with links to the series in order. Make sure you do not exceed 12 images!
