Oh Christmas Tree Collaboration

While I was sitting quietly thinking what to do with my time, I realised that our community is missing something very important for these upcoming holidays...
We do not have a christmas tree.

How can we not have one?!

So, I went out and found a lovely tree for all of us to decorate !

:bulletred::bulletblue::bulletgreen: :bulletgreen::bulletblue::bulletred:


It needs cookies, marbles, presents underneath, candy canes and pretty much everything you can put on it that is related to christmas!
Once it's all filled with nice things I will make a big, shiny and pretty star to put on top on the 25th of December.


:xmas: Please take a look at these rules for the collaboration before starting:

1. All entries must be pixel-art, if you do not know what pixel-art is, go to the bottom of the news to find some tutorials and info ;)
2. If your entry is an ornament for the tree, do not make it smaller than 30x30 or bigger than 60x60.
3. If your entry is a present to put under the tree, do not make it smaller than 40x40 or bigger than 160x160.
4. No animations please !
5. Don't use more than 15 colors :)
6. Have fun !


:xmas: How to submit your part:

1. Simply submit it to dA, and please add in your artist's comments that it is for this project with a link to it so more people will join and have a nice time !
2. Note me - the title of the note must be "Xmas tree collab" and inside you may only put your link to the deviation :), I will then decide where to put it.


:xmas: Want to contribute more and make the tree happier?!

Once you're finished with your pic, if you're willing to, please let me take the palette you used so I can create a big set of palettes for people to use only for this collab :).

Before making your image please check what palettes are available to use and try to use those :) (as in, if you wanted to make a red bow, see if there is a red palette available and if you like it please use that instead of adding new colors).

Advertise the project in your journal ! :dance:.

The deadline for this project is on the 24th of December.
