There is a saying in the Netherlands where we do say: look further then your nose is long. Its a very effective saying in my opinion. Because you might like browsing through all that great landscape/waterscape shots here in dA, but there is so much more to discover outside dA, so look further then your nose is long, and have a look at these photographers. Some do have a profile here on dA, but there are a lot who dont.
I am not writing this article to let down dA, but I just want to show you there is more.
Chip PhillipsChip Phillips landscape photography is great. He makes wonderful photographs of great USA national parks. I especially like this 'water in motion' gallery.
Vincent FavreVincent Favre recently started a gallery here on dA, and his work is becoming more and more popular every day. He fully deserves that because his pictures are truly superb. He makes wonderful photographs of the Alps. The compositions are superb and the light in his photographs really makes me speechless!!
Marc AdamusMarc Adamus!!! Do I need to say more?
Rick LundhRick Lundh makes just wonderful pictures of the mountains. His pictures are having punchy colours without being too saturated. It looks all very natural!
Henry LiuGreat exposure, great light, great composition! He just does everything right!
Andris ApseI think most people already know Andris Apse without knowing he is Andris Apse. It's because he was the photographer for Lord of the Rings. He's a photographer from New Zealand and when seeing his photographs you just imagine yourself being in Middle-Earth.
Zack SchnepfZack just makes perfect outdoor photographs on great hiking tours. For the real outdoor freaks.
Xavier JamonetXavier is a friend of Vincent Favre, and they do have a lot in common(there photographs of course, I don't know them personally). His work is just a great as Vincent's. They do also have a website with for other photographers based in the Alps. Definitely worth a look!

Adam BurtonSome of you might already know Adam Burton because he gets featured sometimes in renowned photography magazine. His work has great variety and is pleasant to look at.
Kah Kit Yoong & Winnie HoIn a first look their work just looks like good travel photography. But when you look to it a little longer you see its very original jet traditional. It has something progressive in its composition and in its colours there is some great vibrancy!
Saul SantosI must say, not only his work but also his website is wonderful. Almost that wonderful that you forget watching his photographs. But his photographs are truly superb, nicely saturated and has an X-factor. Id call it a feel-good-factor!
David ClappEvery photograph earnes a page in National Geographic!!
David NotonGreat landscape and travel photography. But not only a great photographer, he is also a great writer of photography books. He took photographs from wonderful places from all over the world. Places which you and I visited. When you see his photographs you might think: Damn, why didn't I do it that way!
Mehmet OzgurGreat landscape (and smoke) photography. His work is unique and low saturated which makes it very peaceful.
Phil HawkingsPhil his work is well composed and really show the greatness of nature. The size of the mountains, the feeling of the forest. Watching his photographs makes you experience nature a little.
Michael AndersonGreat travel and outdoor photography. His work can match Marc Adamus. He shows the the most wonderful photographs from all over the world. The light on his work is sooooo great!!
Felix CapoteI can't read spanish but I think everyone will manage to navigate his website. You'll find wonderfull land- and waterscapes.
Maciej DuczynskiAKA *
lonelywolf2, do I need to say more?
Adam SalwanowiczGreat photographer with a corresponding with Maciej: great travel photography with a tranquile touch.
Peter ThallenI think his work isn't real professional, but it's just great to look at, or just like the French would say: "c'est jolie".
Tomas KasparGreat photography of the most wonderful places of the USA. He almost shoots typical american landscapes but still remains original. Great work.
Martijn HollestelleOK, that´s me. Haha. I can´t compete with the photographers shown here above, but there´s nothing wrong with some self promotion. If you have liked reading this aricle you can give me a visit to thank me

Well, that was a hell of a list. I just started recently bookmarking pr0's, and I think there are a lot more on the web. Perhaps I'll make another list later. I hope you enjoyed reading this article. Start looking further then your nose is long
