Stories of artificial helpers and companions and attempts to create them have a long history, but fully autonomous machines only appeared in the 20th century. The word robot was introduced to the public by Czech writer Karel Čapek in his play R.U.R. (Rossum's Universal Robots), which premiered in 1921. The play begins in a factory that makes artificial people called robots, but they are closer to the modern ideas of androids and clones, creatures who can be mistaken for humans. Today, commercial and industrial robots are in widespread use performing jobs more cheaply or with greater accuracy and reliability than humans.
A cyborg is a cybernetic organism (i.e., an organism that has both artificial and natural systems). The term was coined in 1960 when Manfred Clynes and Nathan Kline used it in an article about the advantages of self-regulating human-machine systems in outer space. Generally, the term "cyborg" is used to refer to a man or woman with bionic, or robotic, implants. In current prosthetic applications, systems exist to replace a human leg or arm that has been amputated because of injury or illness.
Robots, Cyborgs and Androids will become a common sight in some years.
And when science and technology advance at some point intelligent robots may be able to take our place or maybe we will become robots or cyborgs, who knows?

Quite some deviants shared their ideas about this, so please have a look and enjoy their works.
