Is it true that people don't read any more? It could well be! I've noticed time and time again that many of DA's writers are left to lurk in the shadows of the artists, photographers (and assorted other!). Well not any more!
Every week I plan on bringing you a collection of 4 writers who I think need some time in the lime light. Remember, stories were being told before writing even existed, and story tellers were revered people, those with the talent to write should be praised and noticed, and that's what I hope will happen.

This weeks "Stop and think" writer! In this gallery you will find superbly written work about subjects that may be controversial, but are often true. Short reads (for those of you who can't handle too many words at once hee hee)The Animal In the Man a poem that may be a little disturbing to those of..."Delicate" persuasion, but none the less I think it's brilliantly done.
Earth and Water a short written piece that is calming to read, yet still sightly humbling in a way. Earth and Water, the eternally separated lovers.
Cross Bearers Cliffs a beautiful piece, written with an eloquent vocabulary and attention to colour and imagery. A brilliant piece conveying deep emotions.
A writer with a great grasp on imagery and motion, her writing all has a sense of movement and almost swirling. This weeks Dark Poet with poems written in a slightly more sombre tone.No Sympathy For the Devil a graphic piece with some brilliant imagery, you almost do feel a sense of falling movement when reading this pieces.
Dirge of Decay a poem about decay, and how everything becomes one after death, be it humans, or leaves.
The Wasteland another poem where you can almost feel the emotion and pain, this time about war, if any of you have read "
All Quite on the Western Front" you may recognise the feelings stirred up by this piece.
A writer who not only writes original fiction, but dabbles in fan fiction as well as poetry and translations.Butterfly Dust is a poem with yet moe imagery and colour and the whirl of butterfly wings.
Gespensterfeld a great story about Swan, and his encounter with the supernatural entity known as The Wicked Gardner, who lurks within water: his only entrance to the real world.If you're interested in legends and folklore, then you'll like this tale, it's written in a very believable way
Keeper of the Dragon the first chapter in the story of Azumi, a young girl who finds herself subject to strange events, and soon finds out that it is she who is chosen to become the Wing Goddess, a deity who will descend and save the world of Gaea.
One of the more experienced writers, she has a very clean cut distinct style, a very clear read.Echantress a collaborative piece, written with =
Scarlettletters honouring the women of old who were often known as Witches, but provided healing for the masses.
Hooded a brilliant poem written from the perspective of the wolf from one of the most well known Brothers Grimm tales, read it and see if you can tell which one.
A Fit of Temper a poem about the rage of a hurricane
