Logo Design for the "FAEN! Project!!


The Project:

FAEN! is a project which mainly consists in two producers (Odir and Nexus) creating freestyle beats (that is, instrumentals) which can be freely used by rappers everywhere. The idea is for people to use those beats (free for download on our MySpace) to improvise, record their version and then send it to us, and we will be choosing the best and publishing them online. It's a new project, so we only have a couple of beats yet (which will be online soon), but we are very committed to the project and intend to publish a new beat every week and maybe, when time passes and the project grows, invite some well-known producers to produce some beats for us and see where it goes. Of course this is a Portuguese project, but we have no problem at all with internationalizing it a bit - we'd be happy to see it grow that way, in fact. We also plan to have tshirts, maybe a mixtape someday soon - it all depends on how it goes!

The Contest:

Since we are still starting there are still a lot of things we still lack, and one of them is a logo. We already have a couple of them, which we are using on our MySpace, but we want a main logo - the symbol of the project. So the idea is for you to create that logo, which should include the project title 'FAEN!', and we would use it for our project, obviously giving credit to you!


The Rules:

There are no particular specifications in size or style or even how you make the logo. The ones we've made so far (see below) are quite big, and will probably be used for T-Shirts, CD covers, and so on, but what we want right now is something smaller. Like, for example, the logo for Frente7Zer04 (Odir's band):

These ones we will use for T-Shirts and so on and so forth, as I have said before. The cool thing is, even though the contest will have a winner, even if you don't win we will probably also use our logo for our Project anyways! We want to have a wide, kind of eclectic variety of logos and banners So yeah, this is pretty much a do-whatever-you-like contest! No particular rules, just create something you think will fit this project's image and we will be thrilled! Just be creative, and create away! There is also no limit of submissions, you can post how many you like! Be sure to LINK to this Journal when you submit the deviation and NOTE me with the link to your work, please! Of course we aren't going to ask you this without giving anything in return, so here comes the Prize section...

The Deadline:

No particular deadline, I would say until the end of January, beginning of February! But mainly we can keep this running until we find *the* logo! Still, try to submit as soon as you can, because we want this project up and running ASAP
