Welcome to the my third top ten picks feature. The turn out of contestants for this feature this weekend was much greater than the last feature I did. Just like the feature before this one a there was plenty of good artists to choose from and there were a lot of people in the running for this feature however only ten shall reach the title of top ten picks and receive a promotional critique but the runners up will still get featured. Everyone please give these people your love, comments or favorites.
King-Rastels Top Ten:
The top ten selected are in no particular order and does not signify that anyone is better than another because art is often subjective and all art has worth.
Sad by ~morgansartworld

This wonderfully expressive portrait of a tiger was done with great care and intent of purpose. Although the painting was not put in the mix media category I could immediately tell that this is what it was, a mixture of water color and color pencil. This of course is my best guess from analyzing the painting.
"DALI" by =koffler

To be a great artist you must first be born a Spaniard and second you must be Salvador Dali! Even though I am a great fan of old Dali he could never be more wrong and this depiction of this great artist proves him wrong. Nice extreme close up which just goes along with Dalis ego and the rendering technique used gives the drawing a life of its own.
... by =treo7

Even though I have featured Treo before his photography is very impressive. The last feature was an architectural shot but I really was impressed by this waterscape shot. Treo has a talent for finding the right time to take a shot and how to utilize the natural light for shots like this majestic lake scene.

I have often found it hard to find artistic photo manipulators who understand the basic concepts of design when it comes to art so it is often refreshing to find these rare gems. Sometimes less is more and this manipulator makes great use of simplifying the original image, making use of negative space and using color as a center of focus for the piece.
Further down ver.2 by ~wolfman914

It is always refreshing to see photographers who think outside of the box and are willing to get a little dirty. This beautiful worms eye view shot makes wonderful use of the natural light while at the same time picking up the warms and the cools of this area.
Double Take by ~Juula

At first it would be easy for someone to mistake this piece to be a photo manipulation but upon closer inspection one realizes that it is actually a drawing and a beautiful play on the eye. It is listed as a technical drawing but sadly no how the piece was done.
Death And All His Friends by =F4lc0N-6

Some pieces are meant to be seen far away or at some distance in order for it look wonderful and others are meant to be looked up at close to realize its beauty. This piece falls into the close range because the closer you get to it the more of the awesome texture that appears and gives the piece life and dimension. This could easily be seen as a poster or even a CD cover.
Street Performer by ~veritas-project

There is no such thing as a master of composition but there are experts and those who have the insight and eye for doing great composition and this piece is an excellent example. This piece shows a good understanding of space, flow and directional line.
The Bridge by ~Aerilien

This is an awesome surrealistic painting which is reminiscent of the work of Salvador Dali but what make it so great is that at first glance you dont notice how surrealistic it is until you study it more. The piece also shows a good understand of light, shadow and color.
Rottweiler by =nancy-kelpie

Vector art is a patience practice and what most people do not understand is that even though it is used mostly for commercial art it is still art and requires the same skills, imagination, talent and knowledge that all good artists rely upon so it is still art. This little pooch shows a good understanding of color, shape, light and form. But dont beware of the dog beware of the artist who created him

.
King-Rastels Runner Ups:
Just because these artists did not make the top ten picks it does not mean that they are no less deserving of a feature. These artists were in serious consideration for the top ten picks so they deserve loving as well.
