Soon after Cartoon Network's announcement that they would be permenantly shutting down Toonami for good, along with all of their currently running anime series, last saturday (December 27th) showed otherwise. One of the most popular anime series, Naruto, aired for the first time in 5 weeks. Is this Toonami's Substitution Jutsu? Or something more? It appears that after constant (and forcable) prodding, Cartoon Network gave in. But will it last? It seems that because of this sudden change, Cartoon Network's Adult Swim has begun to do the same. Another popular series, Inuyasha, has changed from its ordinary running schedule from every morning at 6:30 (depending where you live) to a mere every Sunday at 6:30 (also depending where you live). How long will it take until other popular anime airing on Cartoon Network, such as Cowboy Bebop, Deathnote, Bleach, and Full Metal Alchemist will follow suit? Most importantly, as viewers, continue to watch Anime on Cartoon Network!!! Due to drastic decline in the economy, the most likely reason to use a substitution jutsu on tv is to get rid of TV shows that are least watched. It's all in your hands! If you continue to watch Naruto, Bleach, and all those other anime shows, they may just be saved from complete deletion. So muster up your chakra, dear viewers, and start watching! FOR ANIME!!!!
