On dA friends come & go. Some are bright, shiny, bundles of energy who insight those around them to do great things. They light up our lives but only for a short time, then they burn out like a falling stars. It's a wonder to have known them at all.

Others are warm and steady like the sun. They can be counted on, no matter what is going on in their lives or in our. Some are quiet like the moon or twinkling stars, you hardly notice them at times but they are there when we need just a little bit of light to help us deal with the darkness.

Other only come out when we sink into the black hole's abyss, they are bits of ether, you are never sure if you imagined them or if they are real but for a while they kept you company.

Which ever kind of friend you are it's been an honor to have known you all. Happy 2009 everyone!
