One of the hardest things in photography is shooting at live acts. The musicians are constantly on the move, the amount of light on the stage is rarely enough, but if you use speed lights it just becomes flat crap. So how do you solve the almost impossible task of shooting in that environment and still ensure that the photo reflects the atmosphere of the gig?! Sometimes by creating totally blurry abstract paintings of light, sometimes by using long exposure together with speed lights, or shooting in black & white with high iso values... all of them are valid ways of doing this!

Originally I wanted to create this feature solely from a deviation thumb share forum thread, but only a few people posted, so I had to add some extra by searching and some of my own... Hope you'll enjoy it anyway
