I'm holding a contest for this because I've had artists block for a bit here, and it's prefered to get this done ASAP.



Okay, bare with me, this is the description I got from my dad who's fellow band member has this idea. If your pic is liked by the band (I'll send them the links) then maybe they will use it and your dA account name will be next to the pic.

Description: Here is a crude pic of the general idea I have.I'm picturing something larger, of course, with a good use of color. Angle wise, it would be sort of coming at the viewer neckbolts first, and turned slightly to show the length the guitar in some detail. Maybe someone can be playing it, someone faceless or shadowed so that the emphasis is on the guitar burning the music at you. Burn For You, then, would be the name of the record. Whaddaya think?

Also, I was thinking that it could be a two-part. the next description I got was this (and you will be credited with your name and possiably a pic if you would like)

Description of second one:

Grand prize: Sketched and colored picture on Photoshop of three characters and a background

First place: Sketched and colored picture on Photoshop of three characters no background

Second place: Sketched picture on Photoshop of one or two characters sketch background

Third place: Sketch picture on Photoshop of one character no background.

DEADLINE: Within the next two weeks from today, around Jan. 15th would be nice. Can make exceptions for others, up to the end of this month.



I've had an idea, which I shared with them, that may be the best angle for Trapped Inside. I thought how about a bird holding a key inside of a cage, only the cage is a necklace, and the lock on the cage is heart-shaped, and you can see only to the point that the necklace ends on the person, their neck, and a bit of their chin. Also, the person is going to have a compleatly white t-shirt. That's what I'm doing, just came up with it today. Feel free to change it a bit as you please, but please don't add writing. These are being made for the song lyrics to be written over-top of the picture. Color scheme doesn't matter, because if it's dark colors then white font will be used, and if it's light colors then black font will be used. Simple, eh?
