The "Show Them You Love Them contest" is to benefit and raise awareness for the abused and unwanted animals you find in shelters worldwide. We are trying to help show the DA community the love that we pet owners have for our animals, and the pain and desolation of those lonely few who roam the streets without love and affection. This contest is open to everyone, whether you have an animal or not, and has two divisions: Amateur and Professional. Though it is photography (petography to be more specific) only! The Grand Prize is a 3 year subscription, monetary donations to humane societies within North America, a free print, 3 news articles and nearly 40 journal features!

This contest has received a fantastic amount of acclaim and has been sponsored by multiple clubs within the DA community! Please love this article if you support this contest and help spread the word by advertising in your journal! Even if you only get 3 or 4 page views per day, it can still make a difference in this contest!

The ~staring-at-you-club is having a contest for our club I.D. The contest end on January 5 2010. We have a small number of entries, so the competition is not all that tough.
Here are the rules and guide lines:
1.The pic must pertain to eye(given since that is what the club is about)
2.It must have the title our our club in the picture

:bulletyellow:You are allowed to dress my OC however you want, be it the clothes from the original character in the scene you chose, or something you made up. (please don't change hair color or skin color of my character)

MISCHIEVOUS MAGAZINE CONTEST!

Mischievious Magazine Contest:

Were looking for Up and Coming Artists to showcase on MM’s Front Page.
I am basically using this contest to spread the word about my Artist Blog on the magazines page.
As for the Contest Rules:

* Entering into the Contest consists of doing one or two things, 1 posting it on DA & sending me either a link or thumb in a note. OR 2 emailing the piece to mischeviousmag@yahoo.com with placing MM Contest in the Subject Line.

* It can be any medium you’d like to use, as long as there is a photo of it to post online.

* It doesn’t have to have a certain theme, its all about your creativity.

* We do wanna see something “Original” so please no copycats.

* As for worries about copyrights, etc. We do not want to keep your pieces, We just want to showcase them. MM is not going to use any piece without your permission, if at all.

* As for how we post them on our site, We get the piece sent it by you then we take the word “copyrighted!” in white and post it on top of the piece so incase there is someone stealing art, they wont get too far with that there on the piece. Also, we post the link to the artist/artists within the caption link below it.

* As for Copyrights, from someone else, if you make a manipulation using someone else’s piece, you need to get permission from the stock artist to use the piece in the contest, because we will post it on MM.

* You can post up to 2 pieces of art for the contest. No more than 2.


We will be showcasing the “Winner” on the front page of the Web Magazine as well as doing an “Artist Spotlight” for within the Blog, We will ask you a few questions about yourself as well as about your art style, piece, etc.
Other than that you have nothing we will push you to do, if you would like to be a off and on Art Permanent on the page, we can discuss that after the contest.
