Having spent the greater part of 2008 as the Street Photography Gallery Director, I wanted to share my official-unofficial pick for street photographer of the year.

This is my personal pick, and should you want to take up the challenge of naming your favorite photographer, artist, whatever of 2008, please do so and link me to them!



I felt it necessary to make a feature to one of the most amazing photographers of the human condition here on dA.

This photographer is moderately well known, with a decent 44k hits on his page, and with nearly 400 deviations, the spark of life he captures is seen in nearly every one.

So my official pick for the best street photographer 2008 is: .



The most popular shots in his gallery were a no brainer to DD last year. Im glad so many people got the chance to see them!
