Human logic is a wonderful thing. You give them a bunch of facts, they add one and two together, and they wind up with four.

She's the one who started this shit about vampires being sympathetic characters instead of bloodsucking monsters. Without that, Twilight would never had been written.

How have we gone from degenerate, eternally damned Nosferatu ghouls to sparkly, painfully bland Stepford men in just a few decades? How?

I've never read any of the Twilight series, and chances are I never will. I haven't seen the movie, and I have no intention to. However, I have no ill will to the author or Rowling just for being who they are...
In fact, I pity them, because with all their milllions of dollars and massive fan-base, they will continue to be alone and miserable, questioning the very worth of their existence. It is certain that both of them do know, deep down, that their creations are not worth the kudos they receive, and that is something they will have to live with.

That's how I feel about Anne fucking Rice and Twilight's gay sensitive vampires.
Now if you excuse me, being the hardcore Nosferatu and Lugosi-Era Dracula fan that I am, I am going to cry myself to sleep.
