Though of the vulnerable hearts and situation, they thought a positive step to support the defying heroes and children of Gaza is not a matter of choice. A group of Egyptian young artist, led by the admin of the group =No-More-Ignorance, had a visit to some of the Palestinian wounded at Nasser hospital. The aim was to support them, but what they witnessed of high spirit gave them hope and support as well, that the people of Gaza will go to the end in the face of all injustice.

The visit showed a part of what’s going on the reality land, speaking with both sides of Fat-h and Hamas supporters helped to give a better picture of what’s going on the land of Gaza, how they both see and support the resistance, and on the road from Gaza and into the Egyptian lands, which was never an easy journey to many of them regarding security procedures at the borders.

The critical cases were more than the uncritical, some of them went through operations, some are still waiting for second operations. Many of the wounded came with members of their families and friends.

Yet, the treatment, care and service at the hospital seemed to go very well and smooth. Every one there is trying their best to serve and make them feel at ease and that they are in their second home. Most of their daily needs seemed to be available.

They saw two children cases that were not a critical physical case, but on the psychological side, they were in deep shock. Helping and supporting those children are part of the psychological support we need to emphasize and focus on. Creative suggestions are so welcomed. A book for children written and illustrated by our illustrator friend :iconcoloredsould:, is suggested to be bought and given to those children with a few words written inside the cover.

They came to know that there are more cases in some other hospitals through Cairo, like in Armed Forces Hospital in Maadi and one girl of 70% burns case in Madenet el Salam hospital which is not a very well equipped hospital, yet the case seems to be critical.

We have to know all of this happening beside the Egyptian doctors sent to the Egyptian/Palestinian borders to serve according to the Egyptian Minister of Health. This is work of the Egyptian government and not only NGOs.


Of course after this phosphorous war crime, more case are flowing into Egypt. Maybe it’s time for the Egyptian group movement to try an support and suggest practical methods for the support.

Here, we would like to thank our fellow Greek friends as well for the positive step of their government of receiving wounded Palestinian children into their hospital.
