Hello dear readers and Kankuro-fans,

first of all I want to apologize for ANY grammer- and typing-mistake, which may appeared in this news-letter.
English isn´t my native language, but I do my best to improove my skills.

Well than, who is Kankuro?
Kankuro is a manga and anime-character from "Naruto".
He´s a ninja, who prefers to uses human life-size puppets during the fights. Kankuro´s appeariance is designed after the Japanese theater-traditions "Kabuki" (dancing performance) and "Bunkaru" (puppet theatre).

Because Kankuro isn´t that populair than Naruto or Gaara, many fanarts about him may not be noticed too.
So here I want to feature my MOST favorite ones in different categories.

This drawing shows a very well done concept between lights, shadows and poses with Kankuro and his puppets Karasu and Kuroari.
And all is drawn with markers!!! WELL DONE!

How to show Kankuro´s bad-ass-ness???
Just take a look at THIS picture and you will KNOW how.
The faceexpression the strong outlines and the coloring-style underlines everything very well.

That´s looks very unique. A digital 3-D-sculpture of Kankuro.
The clothfoldings are done pretty neat.
The whole Kankuro looks like nearly ready for the next Naruto-videogame.

A ironical made comic, full of funny ideas.

Two VERY amazing cosplayers, who let a fictional character and his puppet come REAL!
Each single detail is done so perfectly!

Animation

"Naruto Fan Animation" by
I NEVER saw such a "similar looking like the original"-animation
like THIS one!!! You really could belive that it is made by the OFFICIAL Naruto-animators. But it isn´t!
A secret hint: A link to the final result on You-Tube is given too.

Flash-game

"Dress up Kankuro" by
Not many dress-up games with Kankuro has been createn.
But this one is espeacially cute and has a well organized structure.
Many funny features are inclouded too: Just let Kankuro look FANCY!

Paperchild

"sabaku no paprchild - Kankuro" by
This poor and cute Kankuro REALLY looks like deperately moving, while the artist is holding him at his clothings.
A funny feature is the schreenshot of Gaara, who seems to totally ignore Kankuro.

"Sabakuno Kankuro bust" by
I´m very happy to see such a detailed made Kankuro-sculpture.
You can see how MUCH effort the artist took into this master-piece!
Any detail is well modeled and painted.

Plushie

"Kankuro Plush" by
Not many Kankuro-plushies exsit over the world.
And it isn´t that easy to deal with Kankuro´s Kabuki-pace.
But THIS plushie looks really like Kankuro. Many detailes are included and even Karasu´s hair looks very furry like the real one.

And last but not least:

VERY unique fanart

"Kankurou Woodburn" by
That´s what I call UNIQUE!! Thi isn´t a simple drawing.
As the title tells you, the artist burned this Kankuro into wood with a speacial penlike tool.
The outlines and brownish coloring let this fanart looks like the original anime-art.
