Contest time! And this time I thought I'd host it on my own! I've been thinking about this for a while (as some of you already know). And after thinking it over and discussing with =Isvarmt and =nemeziz I've come up with a (hopefully) interesting concept!

The Concept

The F4 challenge

A portrait is a artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant. The intent is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the person.

Portraits! Everyone loves a good portrait don't they? So grab a family member, a friend, your lover or just a random person on the street and portray them!

There's just one little rule:

The picture MUST be taken with a bigger aperture than F/4.0! This means everything between F/1.2 and F/4.0 is allowed anything from F/4.0 and smaller is NOT allowed for this contest!

How to submit?

Send your submission per note to =Bamsen by February 28'th, 23.59, GMT +1!

Only photography allowed!
ONE submission per person!
The deviation must have been submitted AFTER November 1'st, 2008!
Pure portrait photography! This means the people & portraits category. NOT conceptual, NOT photojournalism and so on!
EXIF data needs to be attached to the picture. For film users the settings need to be written in the artists comments.
The picture MUST be taken with a bigger aperture than F/4.0!
The submission deadline is Feb 28'th, 23.59, GMT +1
Judges are barred from entering the contest.
