The MN@ Team regularly review chatrooms and if yours has been chosen to be Featured on the Chat page, it's because you've impressed the MN@ with the way that it is running by providing friendly support and assistance for the community, and generally being an example of excellence in terms of what we'd like to see more of on the chat network.

We've chosen four chatrooms to be featured for the month of February and we hope that you check them out.

#LitLove

#LitLove is a Literature room that focuses on keeping a positive and encouraging environment around the users - keeping critique constructive instead of destructive.

They have loads of things going on: daily features (writers only), daily prompts, flash poetry prompt games in the room to get people writing when they have writers block, and every Sunday they have Writers Slam, which is about an hour long radio stream of peoples literary works being read out by them or one of the dedicated readers (=Writers-Slam). They also have planned critique focus groups and workshops as well as a Prose competition coming up.

#AskAndShare

#AskAndShare is a chatroom that was set up for the benefit of people wanting critique on their art.

There will be an interview with someone that does a lot of artwork in the featured gallery for the week on Sundays at 7:30 - 8 p.m. GMT. The first interview is with ^kkart for photography. They are officially opening on February 8, 2009, and they hope for a large turnout. They've got some ideas for future interviews, too!

#HomeOfThe3DAsuarus

#HomeOfThe3DAsuarus welcomes all artists from deviantART but specialises with 3D artists both digital and non-digital.

The room was created to help bring the 3D community together and to bring help and support to those that need it. There is a section of people that stay in the room as much as they can and they are called Hellpurrs (Helpers) they each specialise in different software and are always happy to help anyone that needs it.

The last Sunday of every month a Speed Modelling day is held between 10:00-22:00 GMT, this day consists of 5 small contests each lasting 2 hours long. There are no prizes, instead the contests are held for practice, inspiration and above all... fun. This months entries can be found here. Professionals and beginners can be found entering these contests, the winners and runner ups have the winner title for a month in the chatroom.

#Photos4Life

#Photos4Life was founded with the idea of helping each other and to build confidence in one other in their quest to learn photography.

Some of them hope to build a group of models and photographers that can hopefully actually meet and work together. They believe in self moderation and thumbs are welcome. If they find something beneficial to the community they try to put it in the topic to share with any and all who enter. As the weather warms, they will do contests and games to get everyone out shooting and editing.

Right now they are small and not always around, but feel free to come and chat and hang out. Bring your friends, cop a squat and have fun!
