Character interpretation competition - win a sub!

reports, February 2Everyone likes a good contest. And this, my dear friends, is a fine competition indeed!
What to do?
I want you to draw a picture of one of my characters from this picture. A short description of each character can be found in this journal; also, have a look through this to get a better feel of all of them.
What technique/style is allowed?
Any, as long as it's a drawing/painting. Traditional, digital, mixed, sketch, painting, b&w, colour, the drawing can be anything you like. A pose, a study, a portrait, realistic, cartoony, whatever, it's all up to you.
Any other guidelines?
You can enter more than one piece, and the drawings can contain more than one character. It can be a couple, three of them, even all five if you can make that work.
What can I win?
FIRST PLACE: a 12-month subscription!
SECOND PLACE: a 6-month subscription!
THIRD PLACE: a monthly subscription!
All submissions shall be featured in my journal, so plenty of exposure regardless of whether you win or not!
Who will be the judge?
Me. I will choose the ones I like most, the ones that really speak to me, the ones where I see the author has put in some effort to understand the character. This will be my main criterion - an attempt to understand the character and make their personality shine through what you create, rather than just their looks. (I appreciate this isn't easy not having read any of my work, but if you need more detailed info regarding the characters or their background, just note me.)
What about the deadline?
You've got until the 24th of March. This means that once the 24th of March passes us by and midnight (by the GMT time zone) tolls, submissions shall be closed.
What do I do once I've submitted my picture?
Not me with the link to it and I'll feature it in my journal.
What if I can't draw?
Just pimp this anywhere and everywhere you can to get as many people involved! PIMPAGE IS GOOD. YES.
What about (insert your question here)?
Note me with any questions not covered in the above and I'll get back to you. Also, keep an eye on this journal for updates.
