This is my 8th bimonthly Newsletter still of the colour cycle, but without colours really.

_{I only feature images that are not popular yet, as it is so easy to make great features with images that are already popular, but I want to make a feature with images not yet popular that I think would get a lot more popular if they would be seen. So the pictures I feature all have less then 100 favs at the time I feature them. I hope you will enjoy them.}

Black and White

Black:

Black is the color of objects that do not emit or reflect light in any part of the visible spectrum: they absorb all such frequencies of light.

In Japanese Culture Black is seen as a symbol of nobility, age, and experience.

It is an authoritative and powerful color.

In the west black is a colour of mourning.

White:

White projects purity and neutrality.

White is the traditional colour worn by brides around the world. It should show their virginity.

White is obtained by three summations of light intensity across the visible spectrum.

Black and White:

Black and White is often used in art. Examples would be: old movies, cartoons, photographs (eventhough these were mainly in Sepia).

Most forms of visual technology start out in black and white, then slowly evolve into color as technology progresses.
