This my way of thanking the participants of two feature projects in which these artistic deviants were excited and happy to feature their friends. It is a tribute to their generosity and the concept of generosity in general.
The final of a two year series of monthly articles where several people have come together to cross-section the site, bringing amazing features from various catagories around this amazing place we so lovingly call deviantART.

Now one to those great artworks that are just from page #2!
Plus many of you have asked what Peapie is. I would like to know what you think it is. So what is Peapie? I will tell you what Peapie is in the next Peapie Edition.

Welcome to the my fourth top ten picks feature. The turn out of contestants for this feature this weekend was good but slow I just wish that the forums would have page numbers so people dont get bumped to fast. Just like the feature before this one a there was plenty of good artists to choose from and there were a lot of people in the running for this feature however only ten shall reach the title of top ten picks and receive a promotional critique but the runners up will still get featured. Everyone please give these people your love, comments or favorites.
King-Rastels Top Ten: The top ten selected are in no particular order and does not signify that anyone is better than another because art is often subjective and all art has worth.
albino bloodbeasty by ~SpicyDonut This artist shows a lot of promise with a piece that shows of his knowledge of perspective and light and shadow. The creature design and the fact that it merges from the darkness in a crawl is worthy of any horror book or movie.
Silas 2 by ~Wee-ell This surrealistic piece make great use of simple and limited use of color combined with line work that also doubles for texture and provides flow to the piece in the form of directional line. Wonderfully done and I could easily see this as a poster for a play or a musical.
Rubik Head by ~MrNatas This surreal photo manipulation is not only fun and makes a social commentary about the evils of those rubic cubes but also is a great measage about what can happen when obsess or focus to much on things that dont really matter that much. It is a great social and human condition message.
The Lady's Orchid by =hever Even before the PBS and Disney movies every came out I always enjoyed the Narnia books however while it is just not the excellent technique and skill used for this piece but also the attention to detail of the choice of canvas which works really well with the idea of the stories. It is no wonder that this piece also received a DD.
Butterfly Eyes by ~FullMetalFroggie This wonderful shot makes great use of light and exposer. The pose, prop and expression in addition to the techniques used create a sensual quality that is more than emotive enough to please the senses to excite the imagination.
Miss Mariposa by ~TubaQueen This beautifully rendered portrait has a wonderful serene quality and has a nice creative use of compositional design elements that allow use to focus in on the butterfly that the girl is after which the rest of the piece opens up for us to see the girl and then back to the butterfly.
Purgatory by ~hewsan This piece lives up to its title and lets us believe that this is an actual portal to a world or dimension to where there is a lost of identity and self. The Photo manipulation has a consistency through out the elements used and has wonderful edging that make the piece feel as one piece instead multiple elements.
Approaching Storm by *AtarAtis Drawings done on toned paper always look impressive but even more so when the artist take full advantage of this technique so that the darks and highlights can really be pushed. In addition to the skill and technique that went into this piece it also has a very day dream like quality that is enough to put a smile on anyones face.
Big City Life 001 B by =OrbitalChiller A piece that would do MC Esher proud this spherized landscape will well done with minimal color for a dramatic effect that is almost some what akin to a scratch board project.
Field of Dreams by *InKPapeR-AndSoul While I will be totally honest most of the time I do not feature poetry because of the simple fact the poetry speaks differently to different people so it is really hard to judge certain pieces. However, this piece did speak to me and is beholden to a good deal of my views but it is also simple and direct to the point which I feel gives the poem power.
King-Rastels Runner Ups: Just because these artists did not make the top ten picks it does not mean that they are no less deserving of a feature. These artists were in serious consideration for the top ten picks so they deserve loving as well.
Also I would like to add a special thanks to everyone else who participated in this feature and I would encourage everyone to check out their work as well.
Thanks so much for the feature. I'm very honoured just to have made it as a runner up.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
